Who we are

At Triumph, we design timeless, intentional spaces that feel effortless to live in and deeply connected to their surroundings. Our work balances clarity and warmth—where proportion, light, and materiality are carefully considered to create homes that are both grounded and quietly refined.

From early concept through to construction-ready drawings, we offer a thoughtful, integrated design process. Our services include conceptual design, 3D renderings, and detailed technical drawings, as well as more comprehensive interior support such as millwork design, flooring selections, furniture layouts, and textile coordination. Every decision is approached with both aesthetics and function in mind, ensuring spaces that endure beyond trends.

As a BCIN-registered design firm with a House qualification, we are authorized to prepare and submit permit drawings for residential projects across Ontario. This includes new homes, additions, renovations, accessory structures, tiny homes, and secondary dwelling units such as basement apartments, garden suites, and laneway houses. We design in full compliance with the Ontario Building Code and local zoning bylaws, prioritizing safety, performance, and long-term livability.

We work closely with municipalities to streamline permit approvals and collaborate with contractors, engineers, and consultants to ensure each project moves seamlessly from design to construction. Backed by professional liability insurance and extensive technical experience, we provide our clients with clarity, confidence, and a well-executed path from vision to built form.

Meet the team

Sarah is the owner and lead designer of Triumph. With over 17 years of experience spanning architectural, structural, civil, and interior design, she brings a comprehensive understanding of how buildings come together, from site planning and foundations to interiors and finishing details. This cross-disciplinary expertise allows her to create spaces that are both beautiful and practical, fully buildable, and seamlessly coordinated.

Alongside consulting, Sarah has taught AutoCAD Civil 3D and Planning & Design at St. Lawrence College, a role that reinforced her understanding of how the landscape influences buildings, current standards, and real-world constraints. Teaching strengthened her ability to clearly communicate complex ideas, think critically through design challenges, and approach every project with rigor and curiosity; skills that directly benefit her clients.

Beyond the studio, creativity is a constant. Painting, sewing, ceramics, gardening, and hands-on renovation work, inform her design sensibility and keep her closely connected to materials, craft, and the natural world. This ongoing practice of making and refining, shapes her approach to architecture, emphasizing honesty, restraint, and spaces that feel lived-in, thoughtful, and enduring.
